Medicare Advantage Plan
Medicare Advantage bundles your Part A, Part B, and usually Part D coverage into one plan. Plans may offer some extra benefits that Original Medicare doesn’t cover — like vision, hearing, and dental services. You join a plan offered by Medicare-approved private companies that follow rules set by Medicare. This type of insurance is also known as Medicare Part C

Medicare Supplement Insurance
Medicare Supplement plans, also known as Medigap, help pay your share of medical costs not paid by Original Medicare, like copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles.

Prescription Drug Coverage Stand Alone Plans / PDP
This type of coverage is also known as Medicare Part D. The plans cover a wide range of prescription drugs and the plans contain a drug formulary. The plans typically place the drugs into different levels, commonly referred to as Tiers. Generally, the lower the tier, the lower the price of the prescription.
